Easy, fast supper. Add meat if you like. Ingredients:
8 ounces spaghetti |
3 cloves garlic, sliced |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley |
1/4 minced onion |
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, undrained |
2 bay leaves |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil |
Directions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to box directions, drain well. 2. Meanwhile, in lg saucepan, over med heat, saute garlic in oil for 2 minutes. 3. Add parsley, onion, tomatoes, bay leaves, salt and pepper. 4. Bring to a boil. 5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. 6. Add basil, serve over spaghetti. |
