My Hubby and I love this appetizer. It is so easy. Best if served with wasabi and soy sauce Ingredients:
1 ahi tuna steak (about an 1-2 inches thick) |
1 tbsp sesame seeds |
1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning |
1 tsp garlic powder |
Directions:
1. heat a grill pan, grill or fry pan to about medium-high heat 2. spread sesame seeds on a plate 3. put tuna in the sesame seeds and coat all sides of the tuna, add more sesame seeds if needed 4. sprinkle other seasonings all over tuna 5. place tuna on hot pan and leave sit for about 2-3 minutes 6. flip tuna and let sear for another 2-3 minutes 7. turn tuna onto pan to sear rest of sides (about 10 seconds each) 8. serve with wasabi paste and soy sauce |
