You can easily adjust the main recepy to your taste by addind different herbs or spice. Perfect with a tost and fresh vegetables. Ingredients:
60 g all purpose flour |
1/2 tsp baking powder |
150 g shredded cheddar |
2 small onions, chopped |
salt and pepper to taste |
3 eggs |
250 ml milk |
2 tbs butter, melted |
250 g canned salmon |
Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 170 C. 2. In a big bowl mix flour, baking powder, cheddar and onions, add salt and pepper. 3. In another bowl beat eggs, butter and milk. Pour to flour mixture and beat until thickens. 4. Carefully mix in small pieces of salmon. 5. Bake in 25 cm baking dish until the top becomes lightly brown (25-30 min). Let stand for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot or room temperature. 6. You can vary the recipe by adding fresh parsley, tarragon, thyme, cajun or use lightly cooked shrimp instead of salmon. |
