This is a very easy-to-make chocolate cake. Also very rich! It's sure to please. Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips |
1 cup chopped pecans |
4 cups confectioners' sugar |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. 2. Mix cake mix, 1 egg, and butter; press into prepared cake pan. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. 3. In a separate bowl, mix confectioner's sugar, 2 eggs, and cream cheese. Pour mixture over the cake mix base. 4. Bake until cream cheese layer is bubbly and golden and a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool before serving. |
