These semi sweet raspberry flavored chocolate chips usually are sold in the spring. These brownies are a nice change of pace! Chill for a fugier texture. Ingredients:
1 2/3 cups ( 10 oz pkg ) hersheys raspberry chips |
1/2 stick butter or margarine |
2 eggs |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tsp baking powder |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350F 2. Butter an 8 inch square pan 3. Melt chips and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stir to melt. 4. Remove from heat, stir in eggs and vanilla 5. Add flour, sugar and baking powder and combine well. 6. Place mixture in pan 7. Bake about 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan 8. Cool completely 9. cut into bars 10. Sift with powder sugar- optional 11. I like to serve a square with fresh raspberries and whipped cream |
