Great for a holiday breakfast. You can change up the nuts to pecans or your favorite. Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) packages poundcake mix |
4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
3/4 cup water |
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin |
4 eggs |
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
3/4 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup flour |
1/3 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Combine cake mix, pumpkin pie spice and baking soda. 2. Blend in water, pumpkin and eggs and beat until well mixed. 3. Pour half the batter into a greased 13x9 baking pan. 4. In a separate bowl, blend brown sugar, nuts and flour together; cut in butter until crumbly. 5. Sprinkle half of crumb mixture on top of batter. 6. Pour remaining batter into pan over crumb mixture and sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top. 7. Bake at 325ยบ for 50 minutes. |
