Easy Praline Popcorn Crunch Mix |

I have made this several times in the past, it is wonderful to give away at holiday time. This is so easy to make and soooooo good! Ingredients:
2 quarts popped popcorn |
1 1/2 cups pecan halves |
3/4 cup almonds |
1 1/3 cups white sugar |
1 cup margarine |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
1/2 cup corn syrup |
Directions:
1. Prepare a cookie sheet. 2. Mix the popcorn, pecans and almonds together and spread on the cookie sheet. 3. In a saucepan, combine sugar, vanilla, margarine and corn syrup; bring to a boil. 4. Boil for 10-15 minutes, or until mixture is a light caramel colour. 5. Pour over the popcorn/nut mixture on the cookie sheet; toss to coat (I use a spatula). 6. Spread out on the sheet and dry. |
