If you need a quick snack or dessert, try these. This recipe has been around a long time....an oldie but goodie. I have been known to make them late at night. Shame, shame. Ingredients:
24 graham cracker squares |
1 cup butter |
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Line the bottom of a cookie sheet with graham cracker squares; set aside. 3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil; cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chopped pecans. 4. Pour syrup over graham crackers. 5. Bake for 10 minutes. 6. Cool on wire rack before cutting into squares. 7. Makes 36 cookies. |
