This is the easiest potato soup I've ever tried. It is really good though! It's amazing with shredded cheddar cheese and real bacon bits added before serving. Ingredients:
5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes (about 5 cups) |
1 can of cream of celery soup |
1 can of cream of onion soup |
1 can of evaporated milk |
2 tablespoons of butter |
Directions:
1. Peel 5 medium potatoes and cut into cubes. 2. Place potatoes in a 3 quart saucepan and add water (just enough to cover). Heat over medium-high heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cook until the potatoes are tender (about 10-15 minutes). DO NOT DRAIN. 3. Stir the onion soup, celery soup, evaporated milk and butter in the saucepan. Cook for 15 minutes. Serve the soup with the cheese and bacon bits. |
