Very easy pot roast. The first time I made it I was thrilled to see my family go back for seconds. Ingredients:
3 -4 lbs chuck roast |
4 medium carrots or 1 lb baby carrots, sliced |
4 medium potatoes, cubed |
2 celery ribs, sliced thin (optional) |
1 envelope dry onion soup mix |
3 cups water (i use a little flour to make gravy thicker) |
Directions:
1. Put roast, potatoes, carrots, and celery in slow cooker. 2. Add onion soup mix and water. 3. Cover. 4. Cook on LOW 6-8 hours. |
