Easy Pork Chops in Tomatoes |

One night I threw this together with ingredients I had on hand. Ingredients:
6 pork chops |
salt and pepper |
1 large onion, slivered |
2 (16 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
1 (6 ounce) can diced mild green chilies |
1 tablespoon liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Place pork chops in a single layer in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread silvered onions evenly over pork chops. In a seperate bowl mix diced tomatoes, diced green chiles and liquid smoke. Spread evenly over pork chops. 3. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until internal temperature of pork chops reads 160 degrees. |
