Pickled peaches with an old fashioned flavor are a must for your holiday table, and here's the way to do it quickly and easily. Ingredients:
1/2 cup vinegar |
3 inches cinnamon sticks |
1 teaspoon clove |
1 teaspoon allspice |
29 ounces cling peach halves, reserving syrup |
Directions:
1. Boil the ingredients (exluding the peach halves) for 5 minutes. 2. Add peaches and simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Allow fruit to stand in the syrup until cool or overnight. |
