Note: if you like garlic, throw on some minced cloves I also like some pesto smeared over the dough as well as minced garlic. Your imagination is the limit. Easy and so tasty! Ingredients:
1 lb frozen bread dough, thawed |
1 egg, beaten |
4 ounces pepperoni, sliced |
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, opr pecorino romano grated |
1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning |
optional: pesto and garlic |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375ยบ F. 2. Lightly grease a baking sheet. 3. Roll frozen bread dough out into a rectangle. 4. Brush dough with beaten egg. 5. Arrange pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese over the dough. 6. Sprinkle on the Italian seasoning. 7. Roll up dough like a jellyroll and pinch seam to seal; place, seam side down, on prepared baking sheet. 8. Bake for 40 minutes, or until golden. |
