Ingredients:
4 can(s) (16 oz) sliced peaches in syrup |
1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract |
1 stick(s) butter or margarine melted |
1 cup(s) sugar |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg |
1/2 cup(s) cornstarch |
1 box(es) yellow or lemon cake mix |
1/2 stick(s) butter melted |
2 tablespoon(s) sugar |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Pour all cans of peaches (and syrup) in a large bowl. 2. * In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch , cinnamon, and nutmeg with a small amount of the peach syrup to blend into liquid form. 3. * In another small bowl,mix the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla 4. *Combine the contents of the 2 small bowls and pour over the peaches, blending well. 5. *Pour all of this into an ungreased 13 x 9 cake pan. 6. For topping: Blend the cake mix and melted butter, creating a coarse crumble mix 7. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the peach mixture. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle on top. 8. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. |
