This is my own personal version of a peach cobbler. it is really easy and can be made with all kinds of fruits. just choose something good, ripe, and in season. Ingredients:
6 peaches, medium to large in size pitted and sliced |
1 1/2c splenda (you can substitute sugar if you'd like, use more or less sugar dependent upon the sweetness of your fruit and tastes) |
1tlbs cinnamon |
1/2 tsp nutmeg |
1c bisquick |
1/2c milk |
2 tlbs butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. toss peaches with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and set aside 3. mix bisquick and milk together, you want all the bisquick to come together, not be runny, and almost the consistency of bisquit dough 4. add peaches, sugar and spices to bottom of a glass baking dish (ceramic/enamel would work just as well) 5. top with biquick mix 6. bake in oven til light brown and bubbly. 7. enjoy! 8. very good with ice cream or whipped cream! |
