This cobbler recipe is just little different from all the others, because of the peach nectar. In my neighborhood grocery store, the nectar is found in the Mexican food aisle. If you don't have any on hand, you can use milk or even apple juice.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter
1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches, undrained
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup peach nectar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt butter in oven in a large casserole dish.
3. Pour the peaches in the pan with melted butter.
4. Combine the flour, sugar, and peach nectar in a separate bowl and stir until well mixed. Pour over the top of the peaches. It will sink to the bottom but will rise during cooking.
5. Bake 45- 50 minutes or until golden brown on top.
6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
