I always loved my mom's lasagna growing up, and when I got her recipe I was shocked to see how easy it is to make! Yay for me, I like it easy. (My husband likes it with his mom's spaghetti sauce. It's a great recipe and it's called Lynda's Spaghetti Sauce ) Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground beef |
3/4 cup water |
32 ounces marinara sauce |
8 ounces lasagna noodles |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 cup cottage cheese |
2 cups mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, drain. 2. Add water, salt, and sauce. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. In 11 x7 baking dish, layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, cottage cheese, then mozzarella. 5. Repeat layers, ending with sauce. 6. Cover tightly with foil. 7. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees. 8. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. 9. Garnish with Parmesan. |
