These are simple and utterly delicious. Just like getting them in the restaurant ! Crispy outside, melty, stretchy cheese inside Ingredients:
1 bar of whole milk mozarella cheese |
enough flour in a bowl, start with 1 cup |
3 to 4 beaten or as needed eggs- fork beaten |
enough italian breadcrumbs in a bowl, start with 1 cup |
oil to deep fry |
Directions:
1. Cut cheese into stick or cube shapes 2. Dust cheese in flour then roll in egg and then into breadcrumbs. 3. Fry in batches in hot oil ( 365 F ) until golden 4. Drain on towel and serve at once with marinara sauce on the side. |
