Enjoy Old El Paso® Tacos filled with ground beef mixture made using Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ tomato sauce- Mexican dinner ready in 25 minutes. Ingredients:
1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef |
1 (9 ounce) pouch progresso™ recipe starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce |
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter |
2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips |
2 teaspoons old el paso® taco seasoning mix |
12 old el paso® stand 'n stuff® taco shells |
garnishes, if desired |
shredded iceberg lettuce (optional) |
chopped seeded tomato (optional) |
shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese (optional) |
Directions:
1. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. 2. Add cooking sauce, peanut butter, chocolate chips and taco seasoning mix. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Meanwhile, heat taco shells as directed on box. Serve taco shells with beef mixture, lettuce, tomato and cheese. |
