A moist, delicious sponge cake enjoyed at any time Ingredients:
2 eggs |
125 g butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 cups self-raising flour |
2/3 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. 2. 2. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. 3. 3. Beat with electric mixer on low until blended, then beat at high speed for 2 minutes. 4. 4. Grease round cake tin and line the base with greaseproof paper. 5. 5. Pour mixture into tin and bake in moderate oven for about 30-40mins. 6. 6. Your choice if you want to leave plain or put incing on top. 7. 7. Enjoy. |
