A quick and easy dessert. Perfect for weeknights. Ingredients:
1 3oz box instant lemon pudding mix |
1 box lemon cake mix |
1/4 cup poppy seeds |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup oil-vegetable, corn, canola |
4 eggs |
glaze |
1 tablespoon butter |
2 cups powdered sugar |
3-4 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Set aside. 2. Sift together cake and pudding mixes into a large mixing bowl. 3. Add poppy seeds, water, and oil. Beat until combined. 4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake according to cake mix instructions. 6. Cool 10 minutes in pan then turn out onto plate. 7. Glaze: 8. Melt butter. 9. Add sugar and lemon juice. Stir until smooth. 10. Pour over warm cake. 11. Serve warm or cooled. |
