I found this recipe online years ago and I've been making it ever since. I make this every year for St. Patrick's Day and get requests for it just about every other day of the year as well. Serve with LOTS of butter. Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup white sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 eggs |
1 pint sour cream |
1 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Grease (I use butter) two 8x4 loaf pans. 3. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. 4. Add remaining ingredients. 5. Split batter between the loaf pans. 6. Bake for 1 hour. |
