a basic cheesecake sweetened with honey, One may garnish with a honey nut sauce, or a berry compote. Ingredients:
2 lbs cream cheese |
2/3 cup honey |
4 eggs |
1 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
1. Have ingredients at room temperature. 2. Beat cream cheese smooth and fluffy. 3. Beat in honey and vanilla. 4. Blend in eggs. 5. Pour into a buttered and crumb lined 9 inch springform pan. 6. Place in a hot water bath. 7. Bake in a 350F oven until set ( about 1 1 /2 hours or less ). 8. Remove from waterbath to cool on rack. 9. Chill over night before serving. |
