I make a big batch and freeze them for a quick breakfast or pre-work out snack. Variations, add 2 tbsp. cocoa powder for chocolate waffles, or add 1 tsp. of cinnamon for cinnamon sugar waffles. NOTE: Add your favorite sweetner to taste. Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups rolled oats |
500 grams non-fat cottage cheese |
16 egg whites (or 1 carton egg white beaters) |
Directions:
1. Blend all ingrediants together in a blender until smooth like pancake batter. 2. Prepare in a waffle iron or as pancakes on griddle. |
