Easy Grilled Flat Bread

This recipe can vary if one ones to add spices or seeds in the dough or make sweet by adding powdered sugar to the fineished bread.
Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour and as needed
1 cup ice water
3 tablespoons shortening ( white vegetable )
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of baking soda
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and form into a dough.
2. Cut into 4 or 5 equal pieces.
3. Roll out to a thin 8 inch circle.
4. Prick the surface of the dough with a fork and cook on an oiled hot griddle.
5. Turn with a spatula.
6. Watch these flat bread disks closely because they cook fast.
7. Serve warm.
8. 15-20 minutes from start to finish.
