An old favorite in my family and very easy to make. Ingredients:
1 package ( 18 1/4 oz) white cake mix |
1 package (3.4 oz) instant lemon pudding mix |
3/4 vegatable oil |
3 eggs |
1cup lemon-lime soda |
1 cup confectioners sugar |
2 tbsp lemon juice |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, oil and eggs
2. Beat on medium speed for 1 minute
3. Gradually beat in soda
4. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched in center
6. Combine confectioners sugar and lemon juice until smooth
7. Carefully spread over warm cake
8. Cool on wire rack
