I don't bake very well. So I try to find recipes that allow me to have great flavor, but that is easy to do with no fail results. Ingredients:
1 6.5 oz container of garlic herb spread (i use alouette) |
1/4 cups fresh parsley, chopped |
1/4 tsp dry rosemary or fresh (use about 1 tbsp if fresh, chopped) |
1/4 tsp cracked pepper |
all purpose flour |
1 11 oz package refrigerated french loaf dough |
1 egg yolk |
Directions:
1. Preheat over to 375 degrees F. 2. Grease baking sheet. I just use cooking spray. 3. In a bowl combine garlic herb spread, parsley, rosemary, and pepper. 4. On a lightly floured surface unroll dough. 5. Spread cheese mixture on top of the dough leaving 1/2 inch border. 6. Start at the short side and roll up Jelly Roll style. 7. Cut crosswise into 8 pieces. 8. Place on baking sheet cut side down. 9. Beat egg yolk with 1 tsp water. Brush on the rolls. 10. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake 15 more minutes or until golden. |
