I got this recipe from my mom, a filipino dish called `sinangag`. We usually cook this from leftover rice. It is very simple and easy yet so yummy! goes perfectly with anything fried or grilled. enjoy! Ingredients:
5 cups rice (preferably cooled or leftover) |
2 tbsp vegetable oil |
6 garlic |
1/2 carrot |
5 green onions (preferably the thin ones) |
salt |
pepper |
parsley |
bottled fried minced garlic. |
Directions:
1. Dice the carrot. very small cubes. 2. Mince the green onions. 3. Crush the garlics then mince. 4. In a non-stick pan,put the vegetable oil. 5. Add the garlic,carrot and green onion.Saute. 6. Add the rice. 7. Mix well. 8. Add salt and pepper to taste. 9. When serving, garnish with parsley and fried minced garlic on top. 10. Goes perfectly well with anything fried and grilled. Enjoy! |
