I found this recipe in a discarded cookbook at the library. It is the base for many of the bon bons I make at Christmas
Ingredients:
3 lbs powdered sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup melted margarine
chocolate or almond bark for dipping
assorted flavorings, nuts, coconut, crushed cookies, whatever you want to add. can also be wrapped around cherries for dipping.
Directions:
1. Sift 3 lbs of powdered sugar into a very large bowl
2. Add melted margarine and sweetened condensed milk
3. Stir and knead until well combined and smooth
4. Divide fondant into 3 or 4 sections.
5. Add flavoring, coloring, nuts, whatever
6. Roll into 1 balls and dip in chocolate
7. Add crused chocolate sandwich cookies to unflavored fondant and dip in white bark for cookies and cream bon bons.
