All the recipes I found here were calling for either cornstarch(I was out) or glycerin (didn't have any).. DD is working on it right now. With 1/3 cup of water and 1/3 cup of flour we got enough to make three colors, enough for one time painting. Update:it works! The painting I made was nice, no cracks. The one DD did, crinkled up the paper. She poured the paint on the paper and worked from there. I 'm happy with the result. Ingredients:
2 cups white flour |
2 cups cold water |
food coloring |
Directions:
1. Put water into a large bowl. 2. Slowly add the flour, while the children are stirring. 3. Once it's all mixed together, divide into smaller bowls and add food coloring. |
