Translated for an ethnic baking group for this easy beautiful eggnog bundt cake- holiday time is approaching. Ingredients:
125 g flour |
125 g cornstarch |
1 packet baking powder or 2 tsp baking powder |
250 g powdered sugar |
2 packet vanilla sugar or 2 tsp vanilla |
5 eggs |
250 ml cooking oil |
250 ml eggnog |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 180C 2. Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder and powdered sugar 3. Add the remaining ingrdients and blend smooth 4. Place in a greased or cookie crumb lined bundt or similar pan and bake about one hour OR tested done; check after 45 minutes 5. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes and carefully remove 6. Dust with powder sugar or drizzle with a dark choclate glaze 7. Cake freezes well 8. Note: also may be divided into 2 loaf pans for baking! |
