These are the easiest Biscuits I have ever made and they didn't turn out like hockey pucks ! My husband used to use my biscuits for boat anchors! Try these - I think you'll like them! Compliments of my friend, Barbara Weaver. Ingredients:
4 cups bisquick |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 cup club soda (at room temperature) |
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Mix Bisquick, sour cream and club soda together. Pour onto floured surface and knead very lightly. Roll out to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut with cutter. Melt butter and pour half into a glass casserole dish. Place biscuits in dish and pour remaining butter over top of biscuits. Don't crowd the bisquits. 3. Bake for 12-14 minutes until nicely browned and done. |
