These are quick and delicious. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/3 cup shortening |
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled |
1/3 cup chopped up green onion |
1 1/2 cups grated cheese (any) |
2/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. 3. Cut shortening in using a pastry blender or two knives. 4. Add all of the milk Put on floured surface and knead 8-10 times. 5. Roll out to about 3/4 inch thickness. 6. Cut into biscuit shape and bake on ungreased sheet for 12 to 15 minutes. |
