Easy, simple do ahead cake. Top with ice cream or whip cream and dessert is done. Ingredients:
1 can crushed pineapple, undrained |
1 can cherry pie filling |
1 package yellow cake mix or 1 package white cake mix |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Grease a large oblong pan (9 X 13 ). 2. Pour and spread pineapple into pan. 3. Spoon pie filling over pineapple. 4. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit. 5. Sprinkle nuts over mix. 6. Pour butter evenly over cake. 7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. |
