A delicious cake, mixes choc chips, dates and weet-bix Ingredients:
90 gms butter |
4 weetbix crushed |
1 cup each of dates, sr flour, caster sugar |
1 teaspoon bicarb soda and 1 cup boiling water |
an egg lightly beaten |
about half a cup of choc bits chopped |
Directions:
1. Soften the butter in the sun; add bi-carb dissolved in the cup of boiling water, sugar, dates and weet-bix; mix well; stir in the egg and the SR flour. Add the choc bits. 2. Put baking paper over the base of a lamington-type tin, then spread the mixture eveinly in the tin. Bake mod oven 30 mins. |
