Easy Crudite Tray With Jalapeno Dipping Sauce |

A very simple vegetable tray with an easy spicy dip just a lil different from the norm . Cook time is chill time. Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup sour cream |
2-3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped |
2 green onions, greens only, chopped(save the bottoms for dipping!) |
1t fresh lemon juice |
1t chili powder |
2t red pepper flakess |
dash of cumin(optional) |
1t favorite salt blend(season salt, homemade lemon pepper, garlic pepper, etc) |
assorted veggies(for the above quantity, i use about 1pt cherry tomatoes, 6-8 green onions, cut just at the start of the green, 2 bell peppers, sliced long, 1 large cucumber or 6 mini cukes, sliced lengthwise, baby carrots, couple stalks of celery, etc) |
Directions:
1. Combine sour all ingredients but dipping veggies. 2. Refrigerate about 30 minutes 3. Arrange veggies on platter with dip 4. Garnish with jalapeno slices to indicate dip is spicy! :) |
