Easy Crockpot Stuffed Bell Peppers |

this is a recipe my sister makes and it is really good she shared the recipe with me. Ingredients:
6 green peppers washed, topped and seeded |
1 1/2lb-2 ground beef |
1c cooked rice |
1sm. onion chopped |
1tsp salt |
1/8 black pepper |
dash of basil |
1/2c ketchup |
1 8oz can of tomato sauce with or w/o seasoning |
cheese(optional) |
bacon (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat brown beef in a skillet. Combine meat and next 6 ingredients. Stuff bell peppers. Arrange bell peppers in large crock pot. Can be stacked. Pour tomato sauce over peppers. Cooker on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours 2. my sister makes two different batches the ones listed on top and then she adds bacon on top of a few and when they're just about done she adds cheese. 3. these are really great and shes a better cook. hahaha |
