An easy way to cook pork chops for supper while you do other things that need to be done. Ingredients:
6 boneless pork chops |
1/4 c. brown sugar |
1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
1/4 tsp. ground cloves |
1-8 oz. can tomato sauce |
1-29 oz. can peach halves |
1/4 c. vinegar |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Lightly brown chops on both sides in skillet. 2. Pour off excess fat. 3. Combine brown sugar,cinnamon, cloves, tomato sauce, vinegar and 1/4 cup of syrup from peaches. 4. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. 5. Arrange chops in crock. 6. Place drained peaches on top. 7. Pour tomato mixture over all. 8. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. |
