A quick and easy recipe for crepes! Great on a weekend morning. Ingredients:
1 cup white flour |
1 cup milk |
1 tsp salt |
1 egg |
2 tbsp sugar |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
1 tsp cooking oil |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat frying pan at medium. 2. Mix all ingrediants (except the oil) in a bowl. Beat until smooth. 3. Using paper towel, wipe oil (canola, veggie, etc) onto frying pan, very lightly coating surface. 4. Pour batter into frying pan (amount depends on how large you would like the crepe to be)and quickly tip pan around to spread the batter out. 5. Cook for 20 seconds to 1 minute, checking to make sure the one side doesn't burn. 6. When golden brown/brown in spots, flip and cook the other side for 20 seconds - 1 minute, check regularily to make sure it doesn't burn. 7. Repeat until batter is finished. 8. Serve with maple syrup, jam, sugar, fruit, or whatever topping you would like! |
