Easy, Creamy Cheese Grits |

So easy and delicious....from Southern Living. Ingredients:
3 (10 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth (fat-free preferred) |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits |
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, combine the chicken broth and whipping cream. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Add the grits, and return to boiling. 4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5-7 minutes. 5. Add the cheese, stirring until melted. 6. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes. 7. Serve. |
