Easy Country Peach Cobber |

Absolutely the B E S T Peach Cobbler-and completely easy! From my Nanny's old church cookbook. Ingredients:
2 (29 ounce) cans sliced peaches in light syrup |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup oleo |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 1/2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups milk |
cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Drain Peaches,reserving 1 1/2 C Syrup. 3. Melt Oleo in 9 X 13 pan in hot oven. 4. Pour peaches and reserved syrup over melted oleo. 5. Mix dry ingredients. 6. Add milk, mix well. 7. Pour batter over peaches. 8. Sprinkle with cinnamon. 9. Bake 1 Hour at 350. |
