Easy Corned Beef and Cabbage |

This is the recipe my mother gave me and is a big family favorite. Simple and easy. Ingredients:
1 head cabbage |
1 (12 ounce) can corned beef |
5 medium russet potatoes |
1/2 cup margarine |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel and cube potatoes; chop up cabbage into nice size chunks. 2. Place potatoes and cabbage into a large pot, filling with water until cabbage is covered. 3. Heat on high heat to a boil. Season with salt then lower to medium high, cooking until potatoes are tender. 4. Drain and return to stove on medium low heat. 5. Add butter and corned beef, stirring until both are incorporated and heated through. |
