This is an easy and delicious cinnamon quick bread recipe from my aunt. Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon |
3/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Cream margarine, gradually adding the sugar; mix well. 2. Beat in eggs one at a time. 3. Mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. 4. Stir in the nuts. 5. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 for 55-60 minutes. 6. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool. |
