A delicious and moist treat. Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup boiling water |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
4 tablespoons cocoa |
Directions:
1. Grease an 8 x 8 pan. 2. Mix oats, boiling water, and butter. 3. Let cool. 4. Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla. 5. Add cooled oat mixture to sugar/egg mixture. 6. Sift the dry ingredients together. 7. Add to the wet mixture and mix well. 8. Spread into the prepared pan. 9. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. |
