With only three ingredients and no candy thermometer required, this recipe couldn't be easier. And it makes a LOT, so you can give some to everyone on your gift list! Ingredients:
one 8 ounce package (8 squares) white almond bark |
one 12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips |
one 16 ounce jar salted, roasted peanuts |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, start melting almond bark over VERY low heat. When it’s almost completely melted, add chocolate chips and melt together, stirring until smooth (the almond bark melts much slower than the chocolate chips, so it’s a good idea to let it melt most of the way before adding the chips so the chips don’t overcook). Remove from heat and stir in peanuts. Cool slightly. Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper. Let sit until firm. Store in airtight container. 2. Note: These make nice gifts presented in decorative candy papers and arranged on a nice plate or in a fancy tin. I get about 9 dozen medium sized pieces of candy. If each person eats only two pieces (just try to!) that makes 54 servings. |
