a very simple recipe and simple directions and turns out fantastic!!! A friend found this on . I let it simmer longer for more flavor. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, halved and sliced thinly |
16 ounces kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
2 teaspoons prepared mustard |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. |
