This is a 5 star kraft receipe for back to school time,so easy and kid-friendly! Comfort food for everyone. Ingredients:
1lb. boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces |
2 tbls..kraft zesty italian dressing |
2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables |
1 10 3/4 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup |
1/4 lb. (4 oz.) velveeta cheese cut into small cubes |
1 sheet frozen puff pastry defrosted as package recommends |
1 egg beaten |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Cood chicken in large skillet,stirring,in dressing on medium heat,till done. 3. Stir in the soup,vegetables. 4. Grease 9 inch square baking pan. 5. Spoon in,and top with Velveeta cheese. 6. Unfold pastry sheet,place over mixture. 7. Fold under edges of the pastry 8. Press onto top of baking dish to seal. 9. Brush pastry with egg. 10. Cut several slits on pastry for steam to escape 11. Place on a baking sheet.Bake 30 minutes,till crust deep golden brown. 12. Let stand 5 minutes,before serving. 13. Serve with a saladand you're done! |
