An easy blend of chicken, vegetables and noodles that I originally saved from the label of a Campbell's soup can. I can't believe this recipe wasn't already submitted! Ingredients:
1 lb cubed uncooked chicken |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (or cheddar cheese or cream of celery or cream of chicken, whatever you prefer) |
2 1/4 cups water |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
2 cups frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower & carrots combo, or substitute your own) |
2 cups uncooked pasta (rotini or your own favorite) |
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. 1. Brown chicken in skillet over medium heat with olive oil and whatever seasoning you prefer. Once cooked, set chicken aside. 2. 2. Mix soup, water, basil and vegetables and heat to a boil. 3. 3. Add uncooked pasta, reduce heat to medium and cook for approximately 10 minutes. 4. 4. Return chicken to the pan and cook for an additional 3 minutes, stirring often. 5. 5. Serve sprinkled with parmesan cheese. |
