This is an easy and delicious way to make this famous dish. Ingredients:
4 -6 chicken breasts, pounded thin |
flour |
2 -4 tablespoons butter |
2 -3 garlic cloves |
8 ounces sliced mushrooms |
3/4 cup marsala wine |
2 cups water |
2 beef bouillon cubes |
cornstarch (to thicken, if desired) |
Directions:
1. Coat chicken in flour. 2. Heat butter in large frying pan. 3. Brown chicken, then take out and keep warm. 4. Add garlic and mushrooms. 5. Saute until brown. 6. Add Marsala wine to deglaze. 7. Add water and bouillon cubes. 8. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes. 9. Add chicken and continue to simmer until chicken is fully cooked. 10. (If desired, mix in some cornstarch to thicken). 11. Serve with white or brown rice. |
