Easy Cheesy French Baquette |

Easy recipe for a quick appetizer to serve your guests. I had this fabulous find a few years ago at a small restaurant in Connecticut. Simple butter, garlic, chive and cheese, melted on fresh bread.. Delish. Ingredients:
1 fresh french baquette |
1 tbs minced garlic |
1 tsp chive |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 tsp oregano |
sliced prosciutto |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl mix the butter, garlic and chive. 2. Slice Baquette in half. 3. Spread butter mixture on halves of bread. 4. Bake at 325 for about 10 minutes till slightly brown, remove. 5. Top with Cheese and Oregano mixture. 6. Return to oven and bake until cheese melts. 7. Slice and serve with sliced prosciutto. |
